Domodossola
Domodossola in northern Italy is a town of 18,000 people, located near the south end of the Simplon road pass and rail tunnel, which connects Domodossola with the Swiss town of Brig at the north end of the tunnel.
Bob Zanotti was joined by an old friend, the late Canadian historian and geographer, and long-time Swiss resident, Professor Aubrey Diem, for a visit to Domodossola and a chat about the special relationship this important Italian town has with Switzerland, and why it’s such a popular place with the Swiss.
