Swiss Transport Museum

In German, it’s called the “Verkehrshaus der Schweiz”. To give it its official English name: The Swiss Museum of Transport and Communication, or the “Swiss Transport Museum” for short. It’s Switzerland’s most popular museum, on the shores of Lake Lucerne in the city of Lucerne, which in itself, is one of Switzerland’s premier destinations.

The museum features a very rich collection of some of this country’s classic and most distinguished examples of railway, navigation, postal, telecommunication and aeronautics milestones. There’s also a state-of-the-art, multilingual planetarium, and IMAX theater.

This is a living, hands-on experience for the entire family, enhanced by numerous audio-visual attractions.

This is a must-see.
